How We Do NOT Use Your Information
- We never sell your data. Not to advertisers, data brokers, sportsbooks, or anyone else.
- We never share your personal information without your consent. The only exception: your first name and state may appear on petition deliveries.
- We never use your data to market gambling products to you.
- We never share your individual financial data.
3. Petition Signatures & Government Officials
When the FairBetAct petition is delivered to elected officials, the delivery may include:
- Your first name and state
- Your optional personal message (if you provided one)
- The total number of petition signers
The delivery will NOT include your email address, full name, gambling profile, tax information, or any other personal details.
4. Data Sharing
Service Providers: We use trusted third-party services including Supabase, Vercel, Anthropic, Zep, Brevo, and Google/X. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies.
Advocacy Partners: We may share aggregate, anonymized data with allied advocacy organizations. We will never share individual data without your explicit consent.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order.
5. Data Security
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted in transit).
- User data is stored in Supabase with Row Level Security, meaning your data is isolated from other users at the database level.
- Uploaded documents are stored in private cloud storage buckets accessible only to your authenticated account.
- We do not store passwords — authentication is handled by Google, X/Twitter, or secure magic links.
6. Your Rights & Choices
You have the right to:
- Access your data: Request a copy of the information we have about you.
- Correct your data: Update or correct any inaccurate information.
- Delete your data: Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
- Remove your petition signature: Ask us to remove your name from future petition deliveries.
- Opt out of communications: Unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

7. Cookies & Tracking
FairBetAct.com uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking.
8. Children's Privacy
FairBetAct.com is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
